The Masters had been running successfully since at Forres Golf Course and a special winners trophy was created by Iain Robertson "The Driftwood Trophy" - made of driftwood, pebbles and sand from Findhorn beach.
The Findhorn Gow Trophy (made by Bob Whyte) was added in 2015 for the lowest points score.
Findhorn village once had its own golf course which existed from 1926-1954 located to the East of the present village as show on this MAP created by Mike Shand.
A short HISTORY of Findhorn Golf Course and photographs etc can be found at the Missing Golf Courses website and at the "Missing Greens" websites.
